What Are The Chrome Clips Used For In Replacement Mounting Hardware # CTC-18PARTS
Question:
I am just now installing this cargo box using the parts. I had to drill four holes to make things line-up onto our 2015 Subaru Outback. Out of curiousity ... what is the purpose for the four chrome clips that are included ?

The four chrome clips that are included in The Replacement Mounting Hardware for Trunx Roof Cargo Box # CTC-18PARTS are spring safety clips. Most customers use locks to keep the cargo box shut but for emergency reasons you can use the clips to keep it shut until you can get access to a lock for it.
