The correct Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards for a 2015 Ford F-350 Crew Cab are part # AA3048324. The first fixed step sits only a few inches below the pinch weld and the second extending step swings down about 8". The steps are completely enclosed on both ends so you don't have to worry about water getting inside and rusting. In regards to installation, there is no splicing into the vehicle required, just simply making connections and running wires from each step to the battery. The installation instructions are attached below for further assistance.
If you wish to create an on/off switch you will need to install this on the power wire going to the battery but this is not listed in the instructions so you'd be left to this on your own.
