Recommended 4-Lug Aluminum Wheel and Radial 5.30x12 Tire for Trailer

Question:

Hello. I currently have a trailer with 12 inch wheels2.5 pilot hole and 4x4 bolt pattern with 1/2 inch male lug bolts going into female hub. Tires are 12x5.30 bias. Can you please suggest a alum rim/radial tire combo that would work for me. My lug bolts only 1.25 inches and have about 1 inch of threaded area.......would i need longer lug bolts for the alum. rim or will the lug bolt still be long enough ?

I do have an option for you with an aluminum wheel in the Aluminum Split Spoke Trailer Wheel - 12" x 4" Rim - 4 on 4 part # AM22318HWT and radial tire in the Taskmaster 5.30R12 Radial Trailer Tire part # TT53012C but they are unfortunately not pre-mounted. That said, you could just take the two to a local tire shop and they will be able to mount them for you. This setup won't require longer wheel studs but it will require long style acorn lug nuts, the Chrome Trailer Wheel Lug Nut part # 12CLN.
