Ball Mount Platform Thickness of Draw Tite Ball Mount DT40201
Question:
I want a ball mount to use with the weighsafe universal ball which requires a 3/4inch mounting thickness. Will this ball mount work? I have 2inch receiver hitch, 2009 tahoe and tow a 7000# flatbed trailer frequently using a 2 inch ball and electric brakes. Frequently loaded to the max so I want some excess weight capability in my components, and also the reason for the weighsafe ball. Also, I cant find the weighsafe unversal ball in your website even though I see pictures of it in the chapter headings. Trailer came with 2 inch ball though in retrospect I should have demanded a 2 5/16th ball had I had more experience at the time.

The ball mount platform thickness of the Draw Tite ball mount part # DT40201 that you referenced is 3/4 of an inch like you are needing. At this time we no longer carry the Weigh Safe hitch balls.
