Is There a Backup Camera for a Motorhome that Works with an Existing Monitor
Question:
Hello. I was looking at your wireless backup cameras. I have a 2000 Fleetwood Discovery Motorhome and my monitor went out that I normally use to watch my flat towed vehicle when driving and also when backing up. It appears to be quite a deal to remove my existing monitor from my dash. So I was wondering if any of your wireless cameras with monitor would do the trick for me? And if I can go this route the ones you would recommend. Thanks

I do have an option for you but backup camera manufactures typically do what they can to ensure you can't use their camera with another monitor or vice versa. If it's a wireless system they will typically use different wavelengths to ensure this isn't possibly or if it's a wired system they typically use different plugs/connectors to make this not possibly. Therefore, the only option we'd have is a full system which means a new camera and monitor. If you're looking for something more cost effective then wired is the way to go and for this I recommend the Drive Wireless RV Backup Camera System part # 324-000002 as the large color monitor make for a much clearer view.
