Recommended Cost-Effective Rooftop Cargo Basket For Rhino-Rack Crossbars

I bought the Rhino aero bars for my 2011 Scion xb from you guys and would like to add a basket up top but dont want to break the bank with the Pioneer roof platform. Is there an alternative mount I can use to put a basket up top?

Appreciate the purchase and there is a more cost-effective rooftop cargo basket that will fit your Rhino-Rack crossbars. The option that will work for you that is the best price is a basket from SportRack:

The Vista # SR9035 is a really good size at 44" long x 39-1/8" wide x 6-1/4" tall, and it also has a fairing to help reduce drag, and is light at just 24 lbs so it's easy to handle. The only drawback is its weight capacity is 110 lbs, which is less than other baskets, but if your gear isn't super heavy, this is the best option.

If you do have heavy gear that weighs up to 140 lbs, then for a similar sized basket that will work, the best option is the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket # Y07070. While this is pricier than the SportRack, it is the best priced that will work for you if you have heavier cargo.
