Replacement Blue Ox SwayPro Spring Bars

Question:

Will having a too low rated tension bar cause squat in my truck? Trailer and truck sit level until full weight is placed onto the hitch. My Blue Ox hitch has the original tension bar that was bought for a much lighter trailer. The max 550# bar. My trailer tongue dry weight is 560# and I know with being loaded is probably well over 600#. By going to the 750# max bar can I expect the squat to disappear? Or should I consider even larger? Will get an exact weight on the tongue before deciding. Thanks

Thanks for the pictures! The 550 lbs spring bars you are using are too small and is causing the sagging in your Silverado's rear end. I looked online your 2022 Winnebago Micro Minnie Travel Trailer has a 6,000 lbs total weight capacity. Tongue weight is typically between 10% and 15% of your trailer's total weight.

It looks like you have a Blue Ox SwayPro system. I have listed both options of replacement spring bars below. Like you said you will want to load your trailer up and figure out an accurate tongue weight before deciding.

550 lbs - 750 lbs tongue weight Replacement Spring Bars for Blue Ox SwayPro item # BXW4006

750 lbs - 1,000 lbs tongue weight Replacement Spring Bars for Blue Ox SwayPro item # BXW4007
