To connect your vehicle that a 4-way flat connector to your trailer that has a 7-way connector, you will need to install a 7-way on the rear of your vehicle. If you just need the tail light functions to operate your trailer you will just need The Adapter 4 Pole To 7 Pole # 37185. If you need the complete 7-way wiring to operate (electric brakes) you will need The 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit # ETBC7. If you need the complete functions of the 7-way wiring you will also need a brake controller. I recommend The Tekonsha P3 Controller # 90195. I like this brake controller over the others we offer because it has 3 boost levels that you can adjust initial braking power and aggressiveness.
I attached a review video on the # 37185 explaining the harness into further detail. If you need a brake controller if you could also get back to me I would be able to get you the correct wiring adapter for your vehicle if there is one available. If you have any more questions please reach back out to me and I would be more than happy to further assist you on your towing endeavors.
