I need a gearbox assembly for the retractable steps on a 2016 Thor Hurricane 34F. What is that part number? There is no number listed on the old part.

In order to find the correct replacement parts for your Kwikee steps, you will first need to identify them correctly using the part number that is around 9 digits. I have attached a picture below that will help you find the number and decode the part number. If you're still having issues finding the number another way you can find what you need is by contacting Thor with your VIN number. They may be able to help you find the needed info. I would still check one more time with the information that I listed below, there may be a chance that you looked in the wrong area. The tag should look like the ones in the picture below as well.

The Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps part # LC379145, as an example, is a great option for most steps allowing you to replace your motor and update the controller which is actually required to replace the motor on a lot of older steps. This kit works with the following series; 22, 23, 28A, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, and 40 with a manufacturer before or after 1999.
