What to Check When Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Circuit Tester Reads 3 Axles on a 2 Axle Trailer

I’m testing a trailers brakes that has two axles and the tester is reading 3 axles why would that be?

The Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Circuit Tester # 8010 reading that you have 3 axles for the brake function just means that there is a bit more resistance on that circuit than what you'd normally find for a 2 axle setup.
With this being the case you'll just want to check to make sure all of your grounds and connections are clean and properly secured. Pay a little closer attention to the ground for the brakes as a bad ground can cause issues.
If everything looks fine than you're good to go!
