Can ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank Heating Pad be Used with Boondocked Trailer Water Tanks
Question:
My fresh water and grey water tanks are plastic. We boondock and they are open to the elements. The fresh water tank is an 28 gal. auxiliary tank, mounted where the spare tire use to be. The grey water is 21 gal. Can I put 12v. heat mats directly on the plastic tanks and which ones you recommend. Thanks

The ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad w/ Thermostat # 277-000163 that your referenced would do a great job keeping your water tanks thawed when parked. You can put these directly on the tanks as well.
