In order to use the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist part # TH898 on a 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 Crew Cab I recommend the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar System composed of part # TH711520, part # TH710501, and part # TH145071. This system is one of the best on the market with wing shaped crossbars for the most reduced wind noise, custom door clips for an easy install, and t-slots for use with channel mounted accessories. In regards to security, you can add locks to the roof rack using the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders part # TH450400 but the Thule Hullavator already comes with these.
