How Can I Tell When My Tank Needs To Be Filled While Using The JR Automatic Changeover Regulator?

will the pilot light go out , does the one tank have to be completly empty before it will change over ?

The pilot light will not go out once the tanks switch over, the JR Products Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 37207-30395 has an indicator that will change from green to red when your tank needs to be refilled.
This regulator has a 345,000 Btu capacity, a 1/4" Inverted flare inlet x 3/8" FPT outlet connection, and is made from zinc die cast metal.
