Weight Rating for SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs for 2017 Ford E-450
Question:
Your review state these springs are rated at 5400# and the description says 7000#. Could you clarify? Also, are the ratings for each spring or as a set? This is for a 2017 E450 Coachmen 319MB 33. Thanks in advance for your response.

Expert Reply:
The weight capacity of the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs # SSR-106-54-1 for your 2017 Ford E-450 is 7,000 lbs. Sometimes there are updates that will happen to these types of systems that change the weight rating and it seems that something like this happened from the time that video was made until now - an update has been sent to correct this.
Please note that while this will help support up to 7K, it will not increase the weight capacity of your vehicle to that much. This (and any other suspension enhancement) is designed to support an OEM suspension that's in good working order.
