Is there a limit to an angle that the brake control can be mounted?

Expert Reply:

On a time delay controller like # 80550 the angle does not matter. It can be pointed up, down, sideways, upside down, and it will still work the same way. If it is a proportional controller then it does matter and the specifics are usually in the installation instructions.

Proportional controllers have to be mounted straight meaning they cannot be tilted or turned to the side. The can be mounted in varying degrees up and down though.
