How Does Mighty Cord 30 amp to 50 amp Adapter Split 30 amp Current for 50 amp Legs
Question:
Hello, I am looking at 120V/30A to 220V/50A adapter cords for use when powering a 220V/50A capable trailer from a 120V/30A input source. Im specifically looking at E-Trailers Item # A10-3050FBK. I was wondering how the wiring of this adapter works. Do these adapters simply split the single hot leg from the TT-30 plug to both of the hot legs of the 14-50 receptacle? Or do these instead leave one of the 220V legs at disconnected and at 0V?

The Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-3050FBK that you referenced splits the single hot leg from the 30 amp side to both of the hot legs of the 50 amp side.
