Will BedSlide Heavy-Duty Sliding Truck Bed Tray for 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 Work with Gooseneck

IM TINKING ABOUT GETTING A BEDSLIDE FOR MY 2022 GMC 2500HD DENALI SHORT BED WITH OEM GOOSENECK HITCH. MY QUESTION IS WHEN I CUT OUT AREA TO BALL THROUGH WHAT SIZE SHOULD I MAKE THE OPENING AROUND TO BALL? AS IN A 12inch SQUARE HOLE? IM ALSO GOING TO INSTALL A RAISED LIP AROUND OPENING TO KEEP THINGS FROM FALLING THROUGH.

The BedSlide Heavy-Duty Sliding Truck Bed Tray part # BE72ER which is a fit for a 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 6-3/4 Foot Bed is not designed for gooseneck applications. In order to make this work you would need to modify the BedSlide with a large, long rectangular hole to allow for clearance of the goosenck hitch ball and gooseneck coupler.

Unfortunately, I don't have any tips for making the opening but I'd recommend mocking the tray up first before you mark anything so you can be sure you're only taking away the material you have to.
