What Would Cause Intermittent Trailer Wiring Connection to 2019 Ford F-350
Question:
I have a 2019 Ford F 350 with the factory 7 way plug connector. I have occasional problems with the plug from the trailer losing connection if I go over bumps, or something happens to jiggle the connection. What connection systems do you offer that might have a more robust locking system, say something like a twist to lock, or something along those lines?

If you're getting an intermittent connection with your 7-way trailer wiring you most likely have a dirt or corrosion on your connectors which is pretty easily fixed by cleaning them with sandpaper. Standard 7-ways do have catches built into the latches to prevent them from just popping out so if yours is losing connection when travelling I would highly suspect it's corrosion or dirt. If your 7-way is pretty far gone you could use the part # PK11893 as a replacement.
