Tire Chain Fitment on 2022 Ram 3500 with 285/60R20 Tires

Question:

I purchased a 2022 Ram 3500 SLT 4x4 Limited, tire size 285 60R 20 load range E M+S. Owners manual does not recommend using chains on front axle. This is unacceptable where I live and recreate. Need chains on all 4 tires. What brands and models of chains have you and your customers found that will fit and function on my vehicle. Thanks

For tire chains that fit the 285/60R20 tires on your 2022 Ram 3500 I recommend the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC2335 because they hit the sweet spot of convenience and price point. These are a little easier and better quality than the common ladder style chains but they aren't super fancy as well so they are at an affordable price.

It is worth noting that owner's manuals typically call out tire chain rules for a reason - usually it's due to lack of clearance on the back sidewall of the tire (brake lines and suspension type of things could be hit by the chains). If the Ram's manual says not to use chains on your size tires then I can't necessarily recommend doing it so the call ends up being yours.
