Could Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack Carry a Gazelle E-Bike
Question:
Hello, I am thinking of getting a new Gazelle e-bike. I am wondering about my bike rack. Right now we both have 2 como 3.0 and they work excellently fr our bikes. The Gazelle has a front fender. Do I just remove it to ft my rack? Or, without buying a new one Too Much $$$ is ere another way to secure my Gazelle? Thank you

I looked up the Gazelle e-bikes and their front fenders are pretty small and the front wheel is larger so there's a pretty decent chance the Kuat NV 2.0 could carry it without having to remove the fenders. I also checked the weight of the Gazelles and since they are around 50 lbs and the NV has a capacity of 60 lbs it would work in that regard as well.
So what I would recommend you do is attempt to load the bike on the rack with the wheel clamp just outside of the fender and see how well it secures it. Most likely it would be fine but there is chance you'd just have to remove the fender. Otherwise an e-bike rack like the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 that uses frame clamps instead would be the way to go. This rack has a ramp that pulls out as well to help make loading and unloading easier as well.
