Can The Camco Propane "Y" Adapter # CAM59893 Be Used On Only One Leg?

Can this adapter be used with just one appliance hooked up to the yinch adapter and the opposite ourtlet left unconnected to anything?

I recommend using the Propane T-Fitting # 37207-30115 if you are only going to be connecting one line at times. This fitting has caps for the throw away cylinder threads to help keep any dirt and debris out while also sealing the connection.
The Camco Propane "Y" Adapter # CAM59893 is recommended to be connected to appliances when in use.
