Solution for Trailer that Sits Nose High and Bounces on Highway

Question:

I have a 2021 Chevy 3500 SRW Z71 4x4 with 20 inch tires. I haul a 34 foot horse trailer that has 16 inch tires. I have adjusted the hitch to allow for minimum of clearance with the bed rails to level the trailer as much as I can. Its not perfect but approximately with in 2-3 inch of being level and not hitting the bed rail trailer to rail clearance is 5.5 inches. Now that being said I have noticed that I get bounce and push when lightly loaded versus when I have a full load of horses in it. When I take my foot quickly off the gas I can get bounce/push. I am assuming this is caused because the trailer is not perfectly level with this new truck. Do you have product to recommend that would keep this situation? Is this common on trucks pulling horse trailers in this configuration? Thanks

If a gooseneck trailer isn't sitting level you end up putting the trailer suspension in a situation that doesn't allow it to function properly which will then make it perform strangely like you mentioned. The best solution we can offer is a lift kit for the trailer so that it can sit level and still have the clearance you need like with the Correct Track part # RR23QX and you'd be set.
