Does Suspension Enhancement for 2019 Ford F-350 SRW

Question:

I don’t get it, I purchased the largest F-350 SRW truck with springs designed to carry 11,500 lbs. But by buying a Air Bag System you can now carry 18,000lbs because the air bags transfer the added weight from the truck frame directly to the rear axles. The added airbag system now can allow you to exceed the manufactures GVWR rating ? Or is all the airbags expense is to make a 1-ton truck ride like a Cadillac ?

The weight capacity of the air bag suspension enhancement kits like the Air Lift part # AL55FJ that you referenced is a little confusing but basically they provide additional suspension support For your 2019 Ford F-350 but that does not equate to higher weight capacity since a vehicle's weight capacity is more than just it's suspension capacity. Other components that are considered are the engine, braking, cooling system, transmission, chassis etc.
