Thule Hitching Post Pro Compatibility With a 2022 Ford Bronco Sasquatch Edition

Question:

Will this fit on a 2022 Bronco... but with the Sasquatch package? Measuring from the pin hole out to the outside of the spare is about 13. It seems 13 1/2inch is the outer range of the carrier, but there is that one little U-shaped piece on the bar that goes up to hold the bikes? Thanks for any help!

Expert Reply:

I recommend using the Saris Swing Away Hitch Extender # SAR36VR with the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR on your 2022 Ford Bronco Sasquatch. The swing away extender allows for up to 250lbs to swing away from behind your Bronco. This will allow you to access the back tailgate on your Bronco without having to remove the bike rack. It will extend the bike rack out 13-1/2" so you will have more than 1' clearance from your spare tire to the bike rack upright. The 1/2" difference you measured I do not feel is adequate as when you load bikes the handlebars and foot pegs will be very close to your spare tire.
