Will The Hayes/AL-KO Brakes # K23-524-00-2 Work With A Hydrastar Electric/Hydraulic Actuator

CAN WE USE A HYDRASTAR ELECTRIC/HYDRAULIC ACTUATOR TO OPERATE THESE BRAKES. I HAVE ELECTRIC ONES NOW AND I THINK THE HYDRAULIC ONES WOULD LAST LONGER? IS SO WHAT ACTUATOR WOULD YOU RECOMMEND

Yes, When installing The Hayes/AL-KO Hydraulic Brake Kit # K23-524-00-2 you can use a hydrastar electric over hydraulic actuator to help operate the brakes. I would recommend The Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Drum Brakes # HBA-12. I recommend this kit over the other kits because it has a faster response time and the trailer brakes are triggered when you apply the brakes in the tow vehicle.
