Question:
When I back my camper up my brakes are locking up. Update should the blue wire ever detect power when I backup . With a tester on it it blinks one time when I put it in reverse and goes off should that happen

Since your trailer brakes are locking up when you're in reverse that means that you have a short that is between the brake output circuit and the reverse light circuit. You can use The Circuit Tester # PTW2992 to help find the short. You will need to check your brake wiring for any frayed, exposed or damaged wire, and repair and replace as needed.
