Does Skid Shield have to be Removed or Cut for Oil Changes on 2013 Toyota Tundra with Front Hitch
Question:
Does the skid plate need to be removed on my 2013 Toyota Tundra or hole drilled in the skid plate to allow for easier oil changes to install this front hitch? I have seen conflicting answers to this question from you must remove the skid plate entirely, to you should be able to slide the skid plate out of the way without removing the front hitch.

You will either want to leave off the skid plate or drill a hole in it for easy access to perform oil changes with a front mount trailer hitch # 31198 installed on your 2013 Toyota Tundra. I do not recommend removing the hitch every time because the hardware is meant to be torqued down just once. I cannot confirm whether or not the skid shield can be pulled back enough to perform an oil change. I have linked the hitch instructions for you.
