Recommended Air Bags for a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 2WD
Question:
I have a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 2WD 4.3L. What rear air bag system would work for my truck. I have a small trailer I need to get up and down a steep driveway. to get the tail end of the trail up high enough I need to lower my hitch on truck but then the hitch is too low to make the incline. Want to be able to lift back end of truck when I get to this point to make the incline. Can you recommend air bag system for my truck. Thanks

The Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs part # AL59501 are what I recommend for a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 2WD. These air bags will do a great job of reducing sag/squat while towing or hauling heavy loads. They feature a direct fit with some minor drilling required. They have a 2,000 lb weight capacity and are made here in the USA.
