The SH code on the Prodigy Brake Controller, # 90885, indicates that while idle, the brake controller is sensing a short in the brake wire. This error message may be solved by cleaning both the vehicle side and trailer side connectors of any dirt or corrosion. Also make sure the brake wire from the controller to the 7-Way is not broken or pinched anywhere. Basically on the blue wire of the brake controller all the way back to the trailer brakes there may be a short that you would need to track down and fix. I also recommend checking the ground from the trailer connector to the trailer is secure and free of dirt and corrosion.
