Troubleshooting Curt Echo Brake Controller That Feels Weak
Question:
When using the app for the echo can see that when pressing on the brake pedal that echo see input and registers up to 35 but do not feel any drag from the trailer. when manually engaging brake trailer brakes engage. using the stock 7-pin wiring truck. any ideas to diagnose if brake controller or truck issue, or even an issue at all.

Sounds like your Curt Echo Under Dash Brake Controller part # C27JR that you referenced is installed properly but is set at too low of a setting to really feel the braking power. I would recommend increasing the max braking output level as well as the sensitivity until you find the setting that works best.
