Tapping Bully Bumper Mount Backup Light # PL-807 Into Reverse Light Circuit of 2013 Jeep Wrangler

Is it ok to splice into the current reverse light wire to connect this light? PL-807 Is the 55w bulb too much for wiring on Jeep Wrangler 2013?

According to my calculations, the Bully Bumper Mount Backup Light you referenced, part # PL-807 draws about 4.3 amps at 12.8 volts. From what I read in the copy of the owners manual I found online, the reverse light circuit is protected by a 20 amp fuse. The two OE reverse light bulbs draw 2.1 amps apiece, so if you used one of the Bully lamps, you would total about 8.5 amps on that circuit, which would not be excessive.
You can tap the lamp into the reverse lamp circuit, but I would recommend running the power feed for the lamp through a 15 amp fuse.
