Recommended Class IV/V Trailer Hitch Upgrade for Forest River Lexington on Ford E-Series Cutaway
Question:
The stock hitch receiver on this Ford E-450 Cutaway Chassis is I believe Class III with tongue at 500lb and tow at 5000lbs. I want to use a Mototote Motorcycle Carrier 100lbs and a motorcycle weighing 425lbs. Im told a Class 4 hitch will meet the load requirements, cant locate the unit.

I do have an option for you but we don't offer any bolt-on trailer hitches for a Ford E-Series Cutaway Chassis. Therefore, if you want to swap out the factory hitch for one with more capacity you'll need to either drill or weld to install the new one. For this, I recommend the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41990-07.
