Air Lift Ride Control Helper Springs Fit on 2012 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
I have a 2012 Toyota Tacoma access cab will this system work on this truck even though the leaf springs are under the differential instead of on top?

Expert Reply:
Yes they will, so long as your 2012 Toyota Tacoma is a 4WD because there are different fits for 2WD and 4WD models. So if you have 4WD '12 Tacoma, the leaf springs can be either above or below the axle and you can use the following:
- Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs # AL59561
However, if you have a 2WD model, the leaf springs must be below the axle - which is what it sounds like you are saying - and the correct part number is the following:
- Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs # AL59564
