Draw-Tite vs. Curt Trailer Hitch For 2023 Kia Sportage
Question:
There is a draw-tite and a curt trailer hitch for a 2023 Kia Sportage. What, if any, are the differences? Thanks!

I'll go over the only real difference between the Curt and Draw-Tite trailer hitch receivers that fit your 2023 Kia Sportage, though first, here are the part numbers for the hitches that fit:
- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT22MR
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C94WR
As for the difference, the only one these two is that the Draw-Tite has a mounting tab for a wiring harness. This makes it simple to use Mounting Bracket # 18144 to install the 4-way that fits your '23 Sportage, which is the Curt 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C99DR.
Apart from that, both hitches have the same capacities and are the same simple, bolt-on installation. So if you like that mounting tab and are towing, go with the Draw-Tite, but otherwise you can just go with the one that has the better price and you'll be getting the same performance from the hitch.
