Carr Hoop Steps for Rear Doors of 2003 Ford F250 Super Duty Extended Cab

Question:

I have tube steps on my truck for the front doors and am looking for matching steps for the back half doors. The steps I now have are Carr, they are mat black and have a number on the underside of 1272. I can not find that number in your catalog. My question is will #124871 be the same as the 1272 and will they mount in the existing holes in my rocker panels.

According to my representative at Carr, the number you referenced, # 1272 is a casting number that does not have anything to do with the the fit of the step or a particular step model number.

The # CARR124871 would be the correct step for the rear doors of your F250 SD, in fact it can be used under any of the doors. However, it would require drilling to install. The # CARR125001 is a no-drill application that would use existing holes.
