How Does the Replacement Glass Dome 277-000389 Install on AirrForce 42" Hugger Style Fan?

Do you have or have you heard any tips for keeping this dome in place? Our original glass dome came off and shattered on its own and there arent any screws to hold it in place.

The Replacement Glass Dome for AirrForce 42" Hugger Style RV Ceiling Fan item # 277-000389 has a slanted indent/groove at the top edge that allows this dome to be installed by rotating it one-half-turn. It uses prongs that fit into the groove to hold it in place. Its supposed to use posts or pins to lock it into place so it doesn't rotate out on its own.

The dome is 7-1/4" wide x 3-1/8" tall.
