Front Mount Hitch For A 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup With Tow Hooks
Question:
This will not fit with my tow hooks. Am I doing something wrong?

Expert Reply:
Per our customers at etrailer when installing The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31017 they had to grind about 3 mm off of the tow hook brackets to get the hitch to fit properly.
If you do not want to grind the brackets I recommend purchasing The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65046 and will not require grinding of any kind, and will fit with your tow hooks.
The Draw-Tite hitch has an easy, bolt-on installation with no welding required. It has a black power coat finish that covers an e-coat base that offers a superior rust protection.
