Tire Chain Recommendations for a 2013 Chevy Suburban

Which chains will work on the SUV? Not much clearance on the inside of the wheel.

The best way to determine if a vehicle can have snow chains installed on them is to check the owners manual. There should be a section in there that says if chains are recommended and if there are any size restrictions for the chains.

One way to get an idea of how much clearance you have is to turn your wheels all the way to one side and measure the clearance between the tire and the vehicle.

If you say it pretty tight most likely S rated chains would be your best option. For that I would recommend the Thule Tire Chains # TH01594267. These are cable chains that are S rated so they only require 15 mm of sidewall clearance to be used.
