Correct Converter Panel Size for SOK 12V 206Ah Lithium Battery
Question:
The specifications for the SOK 12V 206Ah lithium battery states a Recommended Charge Currentinch of 40 amps and a Maximum Charge Currentinch of 50 amps. Will the PD4060K provide too much charging CURRENT not voltage for this battery? Would you recommend a different power center? I am replacing a Parallax 7155 in my Casita trailer and hope to find a replacement that fits.

The correct size converter has more to do with the load rather than the battery size but that being said, I wouldn't really go against what the battery manufacturer recommends and in which case we have the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger part # PD4045KA which falls right in-line with the battery manufactures recommendations at 45 amps.
