Hello, I have a 2012 F350 4x4 Super Cab with XL trim. When I bought the truck, the previous owner had put a 4 fox lift on it. I want to install the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle Item # AL57345 . Will I need any additional parts to compensate for the after market lift? Thank You!

Yes, you will need a spacer to compensate for the lift. First I want to ensure you get the correct air springs. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57345 is for a cab and chassis 2012 Ford F-350. It sounds like you have the 2012 Ford F-350 super duty truck which will require a different set of air springs. The cab and chassis have different mounts as the frames have different components than a super duty truck that is sold with the bed.

For a super duty the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57396 is the equivalent to the kit you found that will fit this truck. I recommend stepping up to the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88396. The jounce bumpers help to absorb bumps and reduces bouncing. With the 4" Fox lift you will need to determine the amount of rear lift your truck has. Some 4" lift kits will have a 4" front lift and 2" rear to level the truck while others will lift both the front and rear 4". Since your lift is likely achieved with a lift block you will be able to measure this block and choose either a 2" Spacer # AL52420 or 4" Spacer # AL52440.

I recommend installing the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ with the air springs. This will allow you to adjust the air pressure in the springs from your smartphone using the Air Lift App. The smart manifold will monitor the air pressure in each spring and adjust the air pressure if it varies by more than 3psi of your settings. This ensures you maintain the ride quality while you drive and do not have to risk running the springs under the 5psi minimum pressure where the springs could become damaged.
