The Stromberg Carlson 100 Series 5th Wheel Tailgate # VGM-88-100 you found is an all steel construction. This particular tailgate is for 1988-2000 Chevrolet/GMC Fleetside truck beds.
As I see you are looking at parts for a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 you will need the Stromberg Carlson 100 Series # VGM-07-100. We do also have the Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate # VGM-07-4000 with its composite plastic construction and filled with fiberglass for increased strength.
