How Many Times Does Slide Topper Get Wound
Question:
i have a solera lcv00016300 slide topper awning, the questions i have for you are 1. i need to rewind the torsion springs. the pins fell out and unwound. which direction do i turn the end caps to tighten and how many turns each? 2. do i need to remove the awning to do the rewind? 3. do i turn both end cap the same direction or one side one way and the other side the opposite way, and if so which side gets wound which way? tks

The slide out rollers need to be wound 7 full times when they are installed. You need to wind them the roller away from you if you are facing the side of the RV. You need to wind it with the roller fully installed but with the fabric not connected to the rail.
