Is the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System for Air or Hydraulic Brakes

Question:

on your recommendation for the 2018 chevy silverado 4x4 as a toad . you recommended RM3176-3,BX88197, RM422,RM15267, and SM99251. Im pulling this with a 2009 42foot class A motorhome. it is a Diesel, is the sm99251 going to work. im not sure about the brake when it says hydralic. Are they talking about the rv or toad? My rv is air brakes and toad is air. ive bought all the other parts from Etrailer except for part number sm99251. i read the recommendation from expert Chris R... If you can help me with this issue i would surely appreciate it...

The Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System part # SM99251 is designed for motorhomes with hydraulic brakes and will not work on motorhomes with air brakes. That said, there is a version of this kit designed for motorhomes with air brakes and it's the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System part # SM99243 so that's what I recommend.
