The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger part # 331-BCDC1250D is what I recommend for a DC to DC battery charger. It uses power from the vehicle battery to charge the trailer battery, providing up to 50 amps. There is built-in safeguards as well so you don't ever wear the main vehicle battery down too far. That said, you might want to upgrade the battery bank on the trailer because the recommended capacity is 200 amp hours for this charger.
