Can a Second Motor be Added to Stromberg-Carlson Landing Gear to Operate Individually
Question:
Can I use this to convert my power landing gear to use 2 motors for independent control of my gear. As it is now the motor controls both jacks at the same time the motor is on the left jack and has a connecting rod to the right jack

Helpful Expert Reply:
If you have Stromberg-Carlson landing gear # LG-1 then you could use motor # LG-217884 but you would also need gearbox, # LG-179015 and would have to have a professional welder weld on the mounting brackets for the motor and gearbox to match the other leg. If you did this you would not need the connecting rod for both jacks. You would probably want to extend the switch wires so that both switches are next to each other.
