Where Does the Reese Universal 5th Wheel Installation Kit Install on a 2007 Ford F-250

I have an 07 Ford F250, I purchased a hitch, The part number for the kit is RP30035, I have an 8 ft bed what are the measurements to install this,

The first thing you need to know is that you will need new hardware to install the kit because the hardware is designed for one-time installation and should not be re-torqued. So for the correct hardware kit for universal installation kit # RP30035 you will need # RP58430.

For a 2007 Ford F-250 with an 8 foot bed, measure from the rear edge of the bed (not the tailgate) forward 32-1/2 inches. This is where the back edge of the rear rail will be. Then you will use the 5th wheel hitch to find the placement of the front rail. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you. Go to sheet 11 of 21 for your truck. I have also included a link to a video showing a typical installation for you.
