Where to Install Charger With Alternator and Main/Auxiliary Battery Setup With Deka Battery Isolator

Question:

I have installed the battery isolator exactly as shown in the diagram you provided. Everything is functioning correctly. Thank you. Now, with two questions answered I can finish my project. 1 At what point in the diagram should I a plug-in type 120v/12 volt battery charger? ...the type that supposedly desulfates and restoresinch the battery and can be left on for extended periods. Can I plug it into the generator lead on the battery isolator? Will the magicinch effects of the charger work on both batteries? or will I need a charger for each battery? 2 I also want to add a small solar panel. Again what is the best place to wire into the system? Thank you for your assistance!

Following the diagram for the # DW08771 wiring, the charger will need to be wired directly to the battery you want to charge. If you want to charge the other battery you will either need an additional charger, or you will have to unhook the charger and attach it to the other battery. The "magic" effects will work on the battery you have the charger connected to. The same is also true for the solar panel, it will need to be attached directly to the battery you want to charge.

I have attached a link to our solar panels below for your reference.
