Replacement Trailer Axle Recommendation for a 1992 Easylift Boat Trailer

Question:

I want to purchase a new axle for my 1992 Easylift boat trailer. It has a 2 square shaft,4 drop from the top of the spindle to the bottom of the shaft, 2-7/8 space on holes for brake back plate, 80 axle shaft between brakes, 4-1/4 wheel studs, 73 center to center on springs, and about 5 spindles. I would like it as complete as possible.

The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System w Electric Brake Hubs - 4" Drop Spindle # A35RD545E is the best option we have for you, granted your axle weight capacity is 3,500 lbs.

This kit installs directly to the frame of your trailer and can be used for single or tandem axle setups although you will need to have both axles setup with this system for a tandem system. It uses rubber Aeon springs that act independently to give you the best trailer control on the market.

We have some axles with a 72" spring center measurement which is slightly too short for your application so you'll either need to have the seats cutoff and new ones welded on or have a shop custom order you an axle that meets your specs if you want to stick with a standard leaf spring setup.

Attached is an installation video for you to check out.
