How Would Prodigy P2 Brake Controller Install in 2010 Toyota Tundra
Question:
I have a 2010 Toyota Tundra. i need a brake controller. Im looking at the Tekonsha #90885. Would this be a good controller for a two axle trailer? Do all Tundras have a plug in for a controller? Where would I look/ What harness would I use? I also need a replacement female plug in in the rear. Maybe a 20135? Any other suggestions?

Since your 2010 Toyota Tundra has a 7-way you do have the brake controller install port under the dash which means to install the P2 part # 90885 you'd just need the install harness part # 3040-P. The port is under the dash by the emergency brake pedal. You can see it in the attached install video for the P2 on a similar 2010 Tundra.
The P2 is a really nice brake controller that works well, is very reliable, and installs easily so we recommend it highly.
Then for a replacement 7-way you'd just need the part # PK11893 and you'd be set.
