Yes, you are looking for a coupler style or car-mounted tow bar. For that I would recommend the RoadMaster StowMaster All Terrain Car-Mounted Tow Bar # RM-501. When not in use you could fold it up on the front of your 1986 Suzuki Samurai.

You would also need the Roadmaster Base Plate Kit # 1003-1 that you referenced.

You will also need safety cables, like # RM-643.

For lighting the easiest solution is a magnetic light kit like # RM-2120. The magnets stick to a metal surface on the vehicle and the other end plugs into a 4-Way flat on the towing vehicle.

Most states now require a supplemental braking system on the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Even Brake # RM-9400. This is a proportional system that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the towing vehicle is braking. Proportional systems are the safest way to stop and they reduce wear and tear on both vehicles.

I have included a helpful link to our series of FAQ articles on flat towing for you. You will want to consult the vehicle owners manual to determine if you can flat tow this vehicle and on the proper procedure for flat towing.
